If you are looking for a cycling adventure that will test you even more than one of our bike tours, it’s time for an expedition.
Our regular bike tours in Italy offer vehicle support and options for groups of varying abilities but for those who want something even more challenging we have our Expeditions. These are more extreme cycling trips where the riding is the main priority.
The Canary Islands
Volcanic climbs that take you above the cloud line, hot year round sun and a wind that can make tough rides even more of a physical effort. These islands are not to be underestimated. Each time we start at sea level, climb and climb some more as we head inland, eventually to descend down to the sea again.
Each island is unique in colour palette, flora and fauna and even climate. We will have options for two of the islands for a memorable cycling trip or all four islands for an epic bike ride of a lifetime.

The Fjords of Norway
A land of water, ice and unmatched natural beauty. Our Norway Expedition traverses the country east to west, starting in the capital, Oslo and finishing on the coast in Bergen. On the way we skirt fjords and inland waterways, pass lakes and cross the protected nature reserves where phone signal and other humans are rare to non-existent.
The gravel trails of Norway are immaculately maintained and an example to all other nations on how to build such a network. The cold can be a factor, even in mid summer so kit choice is an essential consideration when planning for four days in this wild and awe inspiring place.
